Why choose Last Cobble?
From April to the end of September, Last Cobble transforms your cycling passion into a legendary adventure on the world’s most prestigious cobbled roads. Our local expertise and premium approach guarantee you total immersion into the world of the roads of Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders, and Ghent-Wevelgem.
From LILLE, our base camp, we orchestrate your unique cycling getaway, where every pedal stroke tells the story of champions.
Choose your session from the calendar to enjoy the best weather of the year.
What Bike to Tackle the Cobbles?
Of course, you can ride the cobblestones with your own beloved bike! It is certainly adapted and strong enough for the demands of the Flemish classics.
However, we recommend some minor preparations to tackle the cobblestone sections: 30mm 4-season tires, optimized pressure, double handlebar tape, and gloves for comfort.
Nevertheless, if you prefer to rent one of our bikes, our technical assistance will help you choose the best ride. (frame size, measurements, and pedals) Extra budget needed.
In any case, our groups are accompanied on each ride by our support team. Like the pros from UCI “teams”, your equipment will be in good hands.
Enjoy your stay with fellow enthusiasts for a more exclusive experience.
Whether you are an experienced rider or simply a passionate cyclist, our routes on the cobbles of Northern France and Belgium will let you experience the thrill of the professional peloton, just like the “Pros”.

Well done, David!
I am very honored to participate in the beginning of this adventure on our Flanders roads!
We have been friends for so long thanks to cycling training in Flanders, on gran fondos, or on Lille-Hardelot, of course!
It's an idea that fills a void! That's for sure.
To introduce our cycling-loving friends from all over the world to our heritage as a land of cycling, but also our traditions of friendship and sharing… Memories and emotions.
The friendly atmosphere and premium welcome reflect your image, the signature of LastCobble.
Everyone wishes you and your future guests great moments, as the North and Belgium know how to provide.

I followed the birth of this project very closely; we discussed it at length during our countless bike rides and, above all, made an observation: why doesn't this niche, this experience, exist yet? It's an anomaly now corrected with LASTCOBBLE!
This agency is much more than a simple invitation to cycle: it's an authentic immersion into the heart of Northern France and Belgium, driven by a true cycling culture. From mythical cobbled roads, steeped in history and emotions, to the landscapes and soul of Flanders, each route is designed with rigor, passion, and respect for the territory.
Knowing the attention to detail of David, the Founder of LASTCOBBLE, his love for performance cycling, and his ability to share, I know that each proposed experience will be sporting, human, and memorable. It's an ambitious, sincere project deeply rooted in the cycling identity of Flanders, combining cobbles, conviviality, and excellence.
I recommend this adventure to all who want to discover cycling differently, where it is true, demanding, and legendary.

Finally, an offer that lives up to the legendary cobbled climbs of Flanders!
This region lives and breathes cycling, but there was no structure capable of delivering the full experience of the legendary Paris-Roubaix and Tour of Flanders routes.
Riding these roads, understanding each climb, each cobbled sector, their history, and their demands, completely changes how you approach them.
It's not just cycling; it's an immersion into the raw and authentic Flemish culture. A concept designed by and for enthusiasts, finally giving full meaning to these legendary routes.
Roc d'AZUR / Fondos / Etape du Tour de France
A passionate cyclist, I have lived in Texas for 11 years. I grew up in Northern France, and the routes offered by LastCobble are part of my history.
The cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix or the Tour of Flanders, the narrow winding roads between fields and villages, the sun and the sometimes fickle wind... all of this is deeply rooted in me and offers a unique cycling experience that is a must-do!
Living this experience with LastCobble, in VIP conditions, is much more than just a sports trip: it's pure pleasure, pushing your limits, and it's a real adrenaline rush to feel like a pro for a day!
Every cobblestone sector tells a story, every road evokes memories.
The LastCobble organization allows you to focus solely on the joy of riding, without any constraints—it's incredible.
An authentic, demanding, and deeply human experience that I absolutely recommend.

After the streets full of murderous Volvos and Mercedes drivers of suburban Sydney, we were so looking forward to the tree-lined open D roads of Flanders!
Seamless airport transfers and hotels organized by Lastcobble made everything so easy.
Starting in the beautiful medieval Ghent, we followed the course of our lycra-clad heroes to Wevelgem at a much more gentle pace, taking the time to take in the scenery and delightful hotels and bistros en route.
In fact, we took 3 days, but who cares? A few little hills to test the fittest of us, and did I mention the cobblestones?
Weird vibrations tested our nether regions, but they and the bikes provided by Last Cobble stood up to the excessive stimulation...
A day in Wevelgem allowed our private parts to recuperate while we took in the somber battlefield memorials of the insane conflict that was the First World War. So many young men wasted…
Then on to the big one, the final push. More bloody cobblestones and hills… oh my nuts! More glorious scenery, pretty villages, and only the occasional maniacal farm tractor blocking the road.
Tired, sore, but supremely happy, we made it to Oudenaarde in one piece (City of RONDE VAN VLAANDEREN)
A delightful hotel and sumptuous dinner to celebrate the end of the trip. We had hoped to lose a few kilos, but the temptations from Last Cobble could not be resisted.
A few days in Paris to recuperate and add more kilos, but what the hell, we are on holiday!
Last Cobble offers a unique experience: cycling, touring, and tasting.
We cherish our memories (and photos) and recommend it to all cycling enthusiasts Down Under.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about our cycling trips
🚴 Fitness Level & Cobbles
What fitness level is required to participate?
Regular practice is enough. If you are comfortable riding 80-100 km, you are ready. No timing, no pressure. We start together, we finish together. A level check is performed by phone before booking.
Are the cobbled sections accessible to all cyclists?
Yes. Cobbles look daunting from afar, but they are fascinating up close. No special technique is needed: just the right gear, commitment, and pushing hard until the last cobble. Our guides will accompany you every meter to turn you into a true Flandrien.
What is the average speed during the rides?
Approximately 25 km/h average. The goal is to finish with a smile, not to beat a time. We cover the last 80 to 100 kilometers of each event, an accomplishment in itself, at your own pace.
Is there a risk to my bike on the cobbled sections?
Pros don’t break their bikes on the cobbles—and neither will you. Tires at the right pressure (30–32 mm) are enough to absorb the impacts. And if you’d rather not take any risks, we can provide bikes specially set up for the cobbles. (Additional cost applies.)
Are the trips accessible to para-cyclists and adaptive cycling?
Each request for para-cycling or handbike is studied individually to best adapt the experience. Para-cycling has its rightful place in our inclusive vision of cycling. Contact us directly to build a tailor-made program together.
📅 The Trips
Do your routes follow the same roads as professional races?
Yes. We ride exactly the same roads as the professionals on the finales of Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders, and Gent-Wevelgem. Same cobbles, same sectors, same thrill.
What is the ideal period to book a trip?
From April to September. Spring to experience the atmosphere of the Classics, summer for optimal conditions, autumn for the tranquility and colors of Flanders.
How is the program handled in case of bad weather conditions?
For the 3-day trip, the program is maintained: a windbreaker in your pocket and off you go. Rain is part of the experience and enhances the sense of accomplishment. For the 6-day trip, we adapt the program according to the most favorable days.
Is it worthwhile to come outside of the Classics season?
Absolutely. The cobbles are the same in June as in April. The routes, guidance, and emotion are identical, often with milder weather and more intimate groups.
Do former cycling legends participate in guiding the trips?
We occasionally collaborate with former professional riders who share their experiences from the peloton and their anecdotes about these roads they themselves competed on at the highest level. These interventions enrich the experience with an incomparable human and historical dimension.
Is a souvenir of the experience provided at the end of the trip?
A souvenir is an integral part of the Last Cobble experience. Photos and videos are included. One thing is certain: you will leave with a memorable record of your adventure on the roads of cycling’s monuments.
🏨 Accommodation & Comfort
Where is the base camp located and what is the standard of accommodation?
Our hotels are located in or very close to the city center, with a minimum 4*/5* rating. Bar and restaurant are available on-site, with communal dinners organized at local establishments each evening. Single or double rooms to be specified upon booking.
Is a laundry service included in the trip?
Yes. Your cycling kit is taken care of every evening and returned clean for the next day. We still recommend bringing two complete sets as a precaution.
👥 Organization
How is a day on the trip structured?
Like a stage race: morning briefing with your guide, group departure, organized refreshments, support vehicle for technical assistance. Each day alternates between cobbled sections, recovery time, and local cultural discoveries.
Are Last Cobble trips suitable for female cyclists?
Absolutely. We regularly welcome female groups with the same level of guidance and the same premium experience. Flandriennes have their rightful place at Last Cobble, on the same roads, with the same intensity.
How do you manage different fitness levels within the same group?
The guide quickly assesses everyone’s level from the first rides and adjusts the pace accordingly. No one is left behind. The experience is personalized so that every cyclist fully enjoys their adventure, in complete safety.
Do you accept bookings for clubs or cycling teams?
Yes, and it’s even ideal. We welcome clubs, groups of friends, and amateur teams. The program is fully adaptable to your objectives and the composition of your group.
Is a federal license mandatory to participate?
No. Licensed or not, club member or independent cyclist, French or foreign, all cycling enthusiasts are welcome at Last Cobble.
Are there organized cycling races during the trip?
We do not organize official competitions, but the racing spirit is definitely present! Friendly sprints at the Roubaix velodrome, timed challenges on certain sections, all while keeping the focus on cycling and enjoyment over pure performance.
🚲 Equipment
What type of bike is recommended for tackling the cobbles?
A road bike fitted with tires at least 28 mm wide—ideally 30–32 mm. Endurance bikes are perfectly suited. Gravel bikes are also welcome. If you’d like to rent a bike set up specifically for the cobbles, our team will help you choose the ideal ride. (Additional cost applies.)
What clothing should I bring for the trip?
Standard cycling attire: helmet, bib shorts, jersey, base layer, socks, shoes, arm warmers, and gilet for cool mornings. Bring a light windbreaker and especially gloves: your hands absorb most of the vibrations from the cobbles. The support vehicle allows you to store a bag with additional items.
What pedal models are available on rental bikes?
All market standards are available: Shimano, Look, Speedplay. Bring your shoes and cleats, and we’ll take care of the adaptation!
